Actress Lota Chukwu Lands Debut Lead Role In Cinema Film

Big news from actress Lota Chukwu, she has landed a lead role in an upcoming cinema movie.Lota Chukwu is Celebrating Herself as she Turns a Year Older | BellaNaijaThe actress shared the exciting news in a tweet, writing that she’s scored her debut leading role in a big-budget rom-com cinema film.

“I’ve spent the last 3 weeks leading an ensemble cast, filled with veterans for a new big budget cinema film. Me as a big budget cinema lead, me leading an ensemble cast, me in a romcom… Thank you again 2021, I’m ready for all the blessings and firsts you keep bringing,” Chukwu tweeted.

Ugwu Lotachukwu Jacinta Obianuju Amelia popularly known as Lota Chukwu had her breakthrough role starring as “Kiki” in the popular Nigerian TV series, “Jenifa’s Diary” alongside Funke Akindele, Juliana Olayode, Falz.

Before delving into acting, Lota Chukwu participated in the  2011 edition of Most Beautiful Girl in Nigeria representing Yobe State.

She has also starred in movies like The Royal Hibiscus Hotel, Falling, “Fine Girl”, “The Arbitration”, “Dognapped,” “The Mystic River,” “This Lady Called Life,” “Ajoche” amongst others.
