7 Health Reasons Why You Should Have S*x Regularly

If you have been slacking on your s*x game, it may be time to get back to it; s*x is good for you! Not only is the act pleasurable, increases intimacy, but its health benefits also abound.

s*x boosts your immune system

Here are some of them.

Keeps your immune system on its A-game

According to a report published in Psychological Reports, having s*x at least twice a day helps to boost the immune system. The report found that people who had s*x once or twice per week had a 30 percent increase in IgA (an antibody that shows the strength or weakness of our immune system,) compared to those who don’t.

“Sexually active people take fewer sick days,” says Yvonne K. Fulbright, PhD a s*xual health expert.

However, you shouldn’t rely on strictly having s*x to keep your immune system humming. Eating right, regular exercise, sleeping enough and of course using protection during s*x are also important to your immune system.

Lowers blood pressure

Engaging in regular s*xual activities have been found to reduce blood pressure.

“There have been many studies,” says Joseph J. Pinzone, CEO and medical director of Amai Wellness.

“One landmark study found that s*xual intercourse specifically (not m*sturbation) lowered systolic blood pressure.”

High Blood pressure can lead to hypertension, a heart attack, lower libido and cause erectile dysfunction.

Burns calories

Having intercourse is a cardio activity so you’re burning calories with it; just how great is that!? When you have s*x ( not masturbate) your heart beats faster, with the number of heartbeats increasing as you reach orgasm. It helps to burn 4 calories per minute and with more consistency comes more benefits. So make space in your busy schedule and get busy.

Relieves stress

Stress is generally considered as being synonymous with distress and dictionaries defined it as “physical, mental, or emotional strain or tension. It can result in a number of health problems like headaches, insomnia, muscle tension or pain, stomach ache. It can even lead to more deadly conditions like a weakened immune system and chronic depression.

According to a study published in Biological Psychology, people who have regular intercourse are less likely to have stress-related health conditions compared to people who have non-coital s*x or not all.

Combats pain

S*x releases feel-good endorphins that help to relieve pain. Research has shown that having intercourse can help relieve pain like headaches, migraines and others.

“Orgasm can block pain,” says Barry R. Komisaruk, PhD, a distinguished service professor at Rutgers, the State University of New Jersey. He also says that stimulation without coitus also helps.

“We’ve found that vaginal stimulation can block chronic back and leg pain, and many women have told us that genital self-stimulation can reduce menstrual cramps, arthritic pain, and in some cases even headache,” Komisaruk says.

So you might want to have an orgasm before reaching for that panadol.

Keeps prostate cancer away

According to research, men who have ejaculate often are less likely to have prostate cancer. Cancer Institute discovered that men who ejaculated 21 times monthly or more were less likely to develop prostate cancer than men who ejaculated between four and seven times monthly.

Increases lifespan

According to a study published in The BMJ, the death rate of almost 1,000 men aged between 45 and 59 over 10 years was 50 percent lower in men who frequently had orgasms than men who didn’t.

You want to live long? keep having s*x!
