He made the call in Lagos on Saturday, February 19, 2022, at the unveiling of ‘We2geda Movement’, a politically-inclined leadership hub.

The musician commended the initiative, adding that it will help chart a new and positive value system in Nigerian youths.

He also stressed the need for change in the mindset of young people within the country.

“My desire and my thoughts are exactly what this is all about. We need a serious reorientation programme for Nigerians and Africans in general,” he said.

“We need to reset, reevaluate and upgrade our value system. Right from the family to the business space.”

“As a musician, we are going to lend our voices. I will try to convince as many of my colleagues to see if they think they can use their heads and understand that we need to make things work and we don’t start running to foreign neighbourhoods.

“I urge every Nigerian youth to try and start to change their mindset.”

This is not the first time the musician will show interest in youth growth and development.

Working in partnership with seasoned local and international agribusiness experts and concerns, 2Baba flagged off the INNOBIA, an agro-allied business concern with headquarters in Nigeria in June 2020.

The initiative was birthed out of the desire to key into the government policy of diversification through agriculture and other ancillary businesses.
