London-born rapper 21 Savage, whose real name is Shéyaa Bin Abraham-Joseph, has announced the loss of his younger brother, Terrell Davis.

Terrell Davis, 27, is said to have gotten into an argument while out shopping for his grandmother in Brixton and was stabbed at about 6 pm on Sunday 22nd November.

Despite the efforts of police and paramedics, he died at the scene. 21 Savage and Terrell have the same father, Kevin Emmons.

Grammy-award-winning 21 Savage, 28, was born in Plaistow, east London before he moved to the US at seven. The rapper shared a childhood picture of him with Terrell Davis with an emotional caption describing his loss. The 28-year-old posted about the tragedy on Instagram on Monday night, writing: “Can’t believe somebody took you baby bro I know I took my anger out on you I wish I could take that s**t back.”

According to the MailOnline Terrell got into an argument with an old friend, who stabbed him. The source said 21 Savage will “be devastated, however, the whole family are”.

A police spokesperson said: “Police are investigating a fatal stabbing after they were called at 17:59hrs on Sunday 22 November by the London Ambulance Service to a location in Ramillies Close, Lambeth, SW2″. No arrests have been made.
