Toothpaste is great for brushing and flossing but do you know they’re lots of other things you could also do with it?
Here are some things you can fix with toothpaste that has nothing to do with your teeth.
Clear pimples
Apply toothpaste on a pimple head before you go to bed. The toothpaste absorbs the oil from the pimple, causing it to dry it.
Banish odors from your palm
Squish a small amount of toothpaste on your palms and wash well. It helps to eliminate strong odors like fish, garlic, or onion smell.
Clean out baby feeding bottles
After repeated usage, the insides of a baby’s bottle tend to retain a certain sour milk smell. To remove that, add toothpaste to your cleaning brush then scrub thoroughly. Afterward, rinse with lukewarm water. You can also apply the same technique for water bottles and thermos.
Clean foggy headlights
If your headlights are getting dim with age then toothpaste is what you need. Pour some on your sponge and scrub your headlights with it. Then, clean toothpaste with a damp rag and they’ll be good as new.

Remove crayon stains
Has your toddler decided your wall is the new board? Using a non-gel toothpaste is a hack that can best them. Squirt some of it on a cleaning rag or brush and scrub the walls with it and the stains will fade in no time.
Whiten sneakers
Put some non-gel toothpaste on the rubber parts of your sneakers and scrub to whiten. Afterward, remove residue with a damp cloth.
Get rid of coffee and tea stains in a mug
That stubborn coffee or tea stains can be gotten rid of. Scrub the insides of the mug with some toothpaste and rinse out.
Clean iron
Apply some of it on the flat surface of your iron and clean to get rid of dark and burn stains.
Stop itch from bug bites
Instead of scratching that bug bite till your skin breaks, you can just apply some toothpaste to stop the itching. It can also be used to treat skin burns.
Remove carpet stain
Apply some on a toothbrush or sponge and scrub it on the surface of the carpet stain. Blot out with a damp rag and repeat until the stains fade.
